In the Saltz restaurant (15 Gault Millau points), hungry visitors can expect modern cuisine with a large selection of fine wines. For gourmets, "The Restaurant" (2 Michelin stars, 19 Gault Millau points) is a special treat with its innovative gourmet cuisine. In the MIKURIYA restaurant (16 Gault Millau points), guests can enjoy an omakase experience. The gastronomic offer is complemented by "blooms", the garden restaurant of the house, which has been awarded 15 Gault Millau points. Guests can get to the city centre quickly and easily: with the free shuttle service, the nearby Dolderbahn or with the limousine service, which can be ordered on request.

An outstanding hotel in every respect – including sustainability

Viewed from the exterior, the Dolder Grand is an unmistakeable landmark thanks to its exposed position atop Zurichberg hill and its array of towers. But the Dolder’s real treasures are buried much deeper within this listed building, and they cannot even be seen from the outside. Seventy geothermal probes installed at a depth of 152 meters supply energy for the entire facility thanks to cutting-edge geothermal technology. The rest of the power requirement is met by 100% Swiss hydropower.

Together with all its partners and suppliers, the Dolder Grand actively practises a philosophy of environmentally, socially and economically beneficial behaviour; by adopting this approach, the hotel pursues the social, ecological and economic goals that it has set for itself.

As a member of the NOW Force for Good Alliance, the hotel makes its contribution to responsible change in the travel industry. This establishment has also achieved the highest level of Switzerland Tourism's Swisstainable programme. In partnership with myclimate’s «Cause We Care» programme, the Dolder Grand supports climate protection and sustainability in Swiss tourism.
